Bottega Veneta Fall Winter 2011 Ad Campaign

UPDATED AUGUST 05th 2011: Added three new shots of the campaign.

UPDATED JULY 28th 2011: Added four new images of the campaign photographed by Robert Polidori featuring Isabeli Fontana and Nicolas Ripoll via TFS.

Isabeli Fontana photographed against the background of the 16th century Palazzo Papadopoli, on Venice’s Grand Canal by artists and photographer Robert Polidori–whose portfolio includes images of the restoration of Versailles, the aftermath of Chernobyl and New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina–for the latest ad campaign of Bottega Veneta .

Bottega Veneta creative director Tomas Maier said to WWD: “What is unusual about Robert’s work is that it both documents and interrogates. His attention to detail creates layersof meaning that extend beyond the formal beauty of his images. I was interested in seeing what would result if he turned his lens on Bottega Veneta’s design and the brand’s roots in the Veneto, specifically Venice.”

This is the first collaboration between Bottega Veneta and Robert Polidori.
