Brioni Spring Summer 2011 Ad Campaign Preview

UPDATED MARCH 02nd, 2011 : Added 2 images of Philippe Reynaud lensed by Tom Munro for Brioni Spring Summer 2011 campaign. Images via View Management.

“The new SS 2011 advertising campaign shows only an apparent simplicity, characterised by a light and contemporary mood, with a clear focus on the product.

The concept highlights a „leisurewear“ character, in order to create a strong impactant graphic campaign, still determined by Brioni core values: the timeless elegance, the unic style and the quality; for a dynamic, demanding and international consumer.

In order to represent the company’s universe, the project links two parallel dimensions: the portait, actor of the Brioni spirit, that embodies Brioni’s aesthetic values, and the product, that represents the quality and the style that make the difference.

Tom Munro is the photographer, internationally known for fashion, beauty and celebrity protography.

The protagonist faces are Philippe Reynaud, appreciated for his capability to express Brioni‘s sense of style, and Hilary Rhoda, internationally known for her innate elegance that brings class and refinement to the project.”

So, Philippe Reynaud is back for the campaign and this time he will have Hilary Rhoda-who recently switched agency to Women Management from IMG-to accompany him.

Vogue Italia 2010 Covers Recap

Vogue Italia… The most artsy Vogue covers. Franca Sozzani and Steven Meisel (who has been photographed the covers for about 20 years and still counting!) always bring something different and unique to the table. Not everyone can see it though, but still they always deliver it!!

They started 2010 with an ode to catwalk and runway as Karlie Kloss “stumble” on it. It’s a unique cover and no one has ever done it before. Brilliant!! A trio of three (Jamie Bochert, Daphne Guinness and Agyness Deyn) graced the February cover, those three gave their personal style on the cover. Freja Beha Erichsen goes regal on the cover of March issue, she shows her soft side with the aristocracy styling.

Amber Valetta took over the April cover with soft colored Vogue logo, the image was shot by Steven Meisel. Another studio image was for the cover of May where newcomer Kirsi Pyrhonen shared the spotlight in unusual posed with Women Management’s Daria Strokous. Supermodel Eva Herzigova covered in leaves wearing Louis Vuitton Pre Fall 2010 collection featured on the cover of June. While another supermodel, Christy Turlington featured for the July issue.

Kristen McMenamy continued her comeback on magazine covers with August issue where they featured the ironic editorial that portrayed an oil spill (it was BP oil incident that triggered the idea i supposed). Miranda Kerr making her surprises moves as she graced the 3D September cover, who would’ve thought the Victoria’s Secret Angel could landed such a big cover slot! She nailed the transformation from commercial to high fashion. Mariacarla Boscono wearing Giorgio Armani Fall Winter 2010 for the red and white cover of October while my favourite cover this year goes to Freja Beha Erichsen second Italian Vogue cover which she was accompanied by Iselin Steiro this time. The pose, the hair, the styling, the color just work for me!! It was lovely!!

Gisele Bundchen closed the amazing covers collection this year with a stunning silver cover by who else, Steven Meisel.

I’m really impressed with this year Vogue Italia cover and looking forward to see what their covers next year
P.S : I’m also looking forward to see the America’s Next Top Model Cycle 15 winner, Ann WardBeauty In Vogue” cover and editorial.
