Comprising ready-to-wear, accessories, and, of course, shoes, Tamara Mellon‘s new e-commerce site poster girl is Karlie Kloss who takes on the role of Kowboy Karlie, modelling the brand’s signature fringing and leather goods. For Mellon, she is already more than aware of the benefits of having her own e-commerce in house. The images were photographed by Tom Craig.
“I feel that online fashion has changed the industry and I thoroughly embrace it,” she said. “I love social media for that reason as it gives me the opportunity to have an immediate dialogue with my customer.”
It marks a busy year for the entrepreneur, who also published her memoir, In My Shoes, in November- the paperback of which is released this week. With the speed at which she is charging ahead, it won’t be long before the next installment is required. (source)
