Six Covers of Vogue Italia June 2015
UPDATED JUNE 05TH 2015: The model who looks like Shu Pei Qin is actually named Gia Tang. Steven Klein photographed the Xiao Wen Ju cover (styled by Patti Wilson), Mario Sorrenti photographed the cover with Gia Tang, Fernanda Ly and Jing Wen (styled by Panos Yiapanis), Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott photographed the cover version with Fei Fei Sun (styled by Katy England), last but not least Craig McDean photographed the cover with Yuan Bo Chao (styled by Olivier Rizzo).
The first peek of the covers of Vogue Italia June 2015 The China Issue. Now we just need the confirmation of who photographed those covers to confirm whether or not Steven Meisel still works with Franca Sozzani at VI. Every year, giant cosmetic brand Maybelline produced a series of images featuring their current spokesmodels as the upcoming year’s calendar.
This year, they tapped Erin Wasson (as Times Square and Streets of NYC), Charlotte Free (as The Melting Pot), Jessica White (as NYC Nightlife), Julia Stegner (as Grafitti), Shu Pei Qin (as NYC Subway), Kemp Muhl (as Central Park and Sounds of NYC), Emily DiDonato (as George Washington Bridge), and new addition to the board Freja Beha Erichsen (as New York Art Scene), and painted them as New York City icons and “scenes” for the 2013 calendar, photographed by Kenneth Willardt.
