Emma Stone for Vogue US July 2012

Our prayers have been answered! Finally Anna Wintour gave a cover slot for the stunning 23 year old Emily Jean Stone, the new Gwen Stacy in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot directed by Marc Webb, The Amazing Spider-Man.

The American actress was photographed wearing Nina Ricci Fall Winter 2012 (we believe it’s Peter Copping‘s first Vogue US cover) for the cover by the magazine’s regular photographer, Mario Testino. Did you noticed that Vogue US ditched the usual banner on the masthead since last month?

Now if only Ms.Wintour would give a cover for Tilda Swinton, that’d be perfect!

Nina Ricci Spring Summer 2012 Ad Campaign

UPDATED APRIL 26th 2012: Added a new eyewear campaign image photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. Image via Design Scene.

UPDATED MARCH 03rd 2012: Click here to view the hauntingly beautiful campaign video directed by Inez and Vinoodh.
Below are the campaign video quote from TBWA:

Peter Copping asked photographers Inez & Vinoodh to direct a short film, expressing their vision of the Nina Ricci Spring/Summer 2012 woman.

From the union of Peter Copping’s aerial and romantic universe with Inez & Vinoodh’s deep and strange world, was born a very unusual movie. Directed by the couple, Raquel Zimmermann hypnotizes us, and engrosses us in her breathless ethereal trance. This piece gives a new and original perspective of Nina Ricci’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

The movie as well -as the campaign- was shot in Old Westbury in Long Island, N-Y, USA, and will be broadcasted in Nina Ricci’s shops from the 27th of February, and presented to the press on the March 1st at the Autumn/Winter show.

Appointed creative director of the House in 2009, in every collection he designed for Nina Ricci Peter Copping always managed to capture the essence of felinity. He creates a graceful silhouette with a subtly pared-back playful sensuality; working with powdery hues similar to the sensual and satin aspects of the skin, evoking the world of dreams and emerging the image of the Ricci woman with a vision of spontaneous authenticity.

Therefore Peter Copping remains faithful to the House’s vision of felinity, and its sophisticated luxuriousness yet intentionally relaxed style. By combining sumptuous materials with soft draping, tailoring and her ability to capture the essence, Nina Ricci became synonymous with contemporary fashion. The creator’s main goal was to channel the personality of every woman; proposing a classic wardrobe that favored naturalness over ostentation. It is this exact same goal that Peter Copping has been achieving for the past 2 years.”

Peter Copping took over the Nina Ricci‘s Creative Director position from Olivier Thyskens in 2009 and this image of Malgosia Bela shot by Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin is his first ever Nina Ricci campaign!

“She looks contemporary, modern, sensual — all those things I see for the Ricci woman,” Peter Copping said. Quoted from WWD
