Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring Summer 2011 Ad Campaign Preview

UPDATED JANUARY 21st, 2011 : Above are two more images of the campaign featuring Doug Pickett by Cedric Buchet.

Taiwanese-Canadian model and actor, Godfrey Gao is the first Asian face for Louis Vuitton Menswear ad campaign !!!

Here’s a quote from TFS :
“Get ready to be wowed by Louis Vuitton’s latest Spring Summer 2011 campaign – no, we’re not talking about Marc Jacob’s Asian influenced collection of silks for women; we’re talking about the brand’s latest men’s ready-to-wear advertising.

The established Taiwanese-Canadian actor and model Godfrey Gao is the first Asian face for Louis Vuitton’s menswear, and his brooding good looks are sure to make you go weak at the knees.

Check out the image right. Godfrey is lounging around with the latest Damier Graphite “ELVIS” bag in SS2011 ready-to-wear. A combination that looks almost too good to be true.

The new Damier Graphite “ELVIS” sticks with the traditional Damier look – the silver hardware, the leather trim and cotton lining – but has the addition of a variety of zipper pockets, interior pockets for your mobile and it’s large enough for your iPad or a netbook.

In fact, the streamlined look and neat shape makes it as attractive for a girl or a guy to use.

Or maybe that’s just because it looks so hot in Godfrey’s hands?

Born in Vancouver, Canada, to Taiwanese parents, Godfrey has grown into his looks.

The tall actor – he’s 195cm tall – started out in popular Taiwanese TV shows like The Kid from Heaven and Love Queen, but he’s now doing more adult movies like All About Women.

As the first Asian face for Louis Vuitton Men he’s soon going to be plastered all over the place; much to the enjoyment of us all.”
