If you following our Twitter account, @art8amby, you must’ve already seen this latest cover of Vogue US two days ago featuring the leading female cast of the highly anticipated David Fincher directed remake, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (click here for the cool teaser posters) that will be released on December 21st 2011.
The 25 year old younger sister of fellow actress Kate Mara was photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott (their first ever Vogue US cover, congratulations!) and styled by Tonne Goodman in Ralph Lauren Collection Fall Winter 2011 dress for the cover and she looks surprisingly beautiful, contrary to her hard and rebellious character in the movie, Lisbeth Salander.
Her first high fashion magazine cover was for this year’s February issue of W in which she sporting the edgy look of Lisbeth Salander. And by edgy we mean piercings and body tattoos.
We are loving how Vogue US featured quite a number of first timers this year on their covers such as Kristen Stewart, Rihanna, Emma Watson and Rooney Mara.
Now we just need to patiently wait for the talented Emma Stone to landed her first Vogue US cover. Hopefully next year, just in time for her to promoting The Amazing Spider-Man.
