Christian Dior Menswear Fall Winter 2019 Ad Campaign

Kim Jones paid tribute to house founder Christian Dior’s first vocation as a gallerist (Monsieur Dior was an art collector before he began his couture house) for the brand’s Menswear Fall Winter 2019 collection.

The white, paint-splattered walls, concrete floors and colourful stacked canvases for the accompanying ad campaign images, lensed by the legendary Steven Meisel, is inspired by Raymond Pettibon, whose distinct iconography was found on album covers by Black Flag, Sonic Youth, and several other prominent figures in the 1970s American punk movement.

The Californian artist also reinterpreted the Dior logo and writing it calligraphy-style for the current season. (source)
