Tom Ford’s Fall ’13 campaign, which debuts exclusively above, is simultaneously an exercise in high-gloss, comic-tinged glamour and slick understatement—basically, classic Tom. Lensed by the designer and set against a stark white background, the womenswear ads (above), which feature Ford’s glittery Ka-Pow!-motif gowns, star Soo Joo Park, Gemma Refoufi, Herieth Paul, and Zuzanna Bijoch—each of whom are painted with pink-hued eye makeup that has a bit of a Grace Jones-meets-Ziggy Stardust vibe.
Meanwhile, the eyewear ads (below) depict Oli Tyler, Conrad Bromfield, and Juan Betancourt huddled in the corner of the frame, cheekily staring at the camera through Ford’s specs while donning bow-topped patent shoes, tuxes, what may or may not be a sheer stocking-sock hybrid, and furry jackets. Ford’s irreverent Fall snaps hit magazines this August.

An impressive campaign, between fashion and cinema, in a triumph of Italian style that represents one of the stylistic codes that are the most dear to Ermanno Scervino. Asia Argento will be the protagonist of the 2013/14 autumn/winter advertisement campaign by the house of fashion from Florence.
An exceptional testimonial: “As she has cinema in her blood, no-one knows the world of cinema like Asia does. When I imagined a face for the new woman by Ermanno Scervino, I immediately thought about her” the designer said.
Asia Argento has been called to personify the new concept of woman by Ermanno Scervino, that is indissolubly connected to the Cinema and to the divas of the past, that created its history.
“Together with Asia – Scervino said – we wanted to tell a new style, that looks towards the past but is immediately projected towards the future. Never be nostalgic.” The photos have been taken by Francesco Carrozzini in an old delabré Milanese theatre: the atmosphere is almost like a film noir; everything is deeply refined”
