Vogue Greece 2011 Covers Recap

Vogue Greece started 2011 with a silver cover image featuring actress and host Eleni Menegaki lensed by Costas Avgoulis. Model Anna Zakuslyo posing with Gucci‘s signature intricate dress from the Spring Summer 2011 collection for the February issue, another dress from the same season was worn by Daria Werbowy for the March cover photographed by Mario Sorrenti. I think it was a reprint from somewhere. Gucci landed its third cover slot on October issue as worn by Ieva Laguna and photographed by Koray Birand, the photographer who shot the last 2011 cover of Vogue Greece featuring top model Heather Marks who’s wearing a canary yellow Versace‘s feather dress.

Victoria’s Secret Angel from South Africa, Candice Swanepoel graced the April issue as she was lensed by Steven Meisel, a reprint from her editorial in Vogue Italia. More reprint covers were: Constance Jablonski‘s June cover by Alex Cayley taken from Vogue Spain; Karmen Pedaru‘s August cover by Cédric Buchet taken from Vogue Paris; and Aymeline Valade‘s November cover by Giampaolo Sgura taken from Vogue Japan.

My favourite cover from Vogue Greece this year are Sophie Holmes‘s September front page by Federico de Angelis (I love the image, but the packed headlines were distracting) and Bregje Heinen‘s May issue, snapped by Thanassis Krikis who also photographed Valeriya Melnik‘s July cover.

What’s your favourite cover from Vogue Greece this year, guys? 🙂
