Thomas Maier‘s Cruise Collection represents the challenge to work on the idea of Resort as going away, but also as for the city. The palette is muted with touches of saturated brights. Colors range from natural to strong and include stucco, plaster, silt, dakar, espresso, sunset, fire, shock, and turquoise.
The collection includes soft and luxurious fabrics that are pleasant to wear from day to night and are functional as well, with a focus on newly developed Japanese polyesters. Materials range from cotton and linen gabardines to light silk, layered chiffons, cashmeres, fine woolens and various ultra-soft and washed leathers.
The silhouette is light, airy and relaxed. Juxtaposed with structured corsetry in dresses and corset belts. Pants are fluid and easy, topped with shells while the silhouette of skirts is lean to reflect the motion of the body
The Accessories are the must have collection from Bottega Veneta, Bags are washed and relaxed, some fused with metallic foil to give a lived in feel. Shoes are high in strappy sandals, or wedges in bright lacquer or hand painted.
Jewelry is inspired by Sardinia, where the 19th century jewelry pieces were created of wire mixed with shells and glass found on the beach. Now they are realized in blackened silver with shells, fabric and rock crystal.
The collection From Bottega Veneta Cruise 2012 are now Available Nationwide (Senayan City, Grand Indonesia) also stores worldwide.
