It’s time for Vogue China 2010 covers recap !
Vogue China started the year with a lovely cover by Lachlan Bailey. He shot Kendra Spears in a flowery backdrop and Balenciaga ensemble. Shu Pei Qin landed her first Vogue China cover this year, accompanied by fellow first timer, Mirte Maas for February. Both lensed by Patrick Demarchelier in Gucci.
6 models gracing the folded March cover. Du Juan, Anna Jagodzinska, Lily Donaldson, Karlie Kloss, Constance Jablonski and Liu Wen teamed up for the cover. Li Bing Bing sitting on the cover of Vogue China April 2010. While Natalia Vodianova landed 2 different version for its May cover. Lensed by Peter Lindbergh and Paolo Roversi respectively.
June, Vogue China chose Lust, Caution star Tang Wei as their cover girl. July, they used reprint from US Vogue featuring Sarah Jessica Parker photographed by Mario Testino. August, Karlie Kloss on her second out of 3 covers for Vogue China this year, was lensed by Peter Lindbergh wearing Balenciaga.
Another models ensemble for one of fashion magazine’s most important issue, September edition. It was all Asian casts! Liu Wen was back. Shu Pei Qin also back again on the cover. This time they were accompanied by Tao Okamoto, stunning newcomer Fei Fei Sun and Ming Xi. All of them were photographed by Daniel Jackson and Peter Lindbergh wearing clothes from Joseph Altuzarra and Alexander Wang.
Peter Lindbergh continues doing his work for Vogue China! Oscar winner Kate Winslet was photographed by the famous photographer for October cover.
Patricia van der Vliet and Karlie Kloss wore Louis Vuitton (it was Karlie‘s third Vogue China cover in 2010) for November, lensed lensed by Max Vadukul.
Lara Stone closed the year with a simple yet stunning cover by Willy Vanderperre.
Hopefully Vogue China can deliver more good covers next year like Kendra‘s, The September edition and Lara‘s.
