I personally think that InStyle UK cover is lack of colours or in other words, pale. Or maybe I’m just a fan of great mix of multi colour in magazine covers and I forgot that white background is their standard? Yes, they feature a edgy red Versus dress (which i loved) for Ginnifer Goodwin‘s November cover, but the InStyle font colour itself still used muted colour !
Gwen Stefani wore a Louis Vuitton dress for July cover, but still need more colour in my opinion. Let’s hope (at least i’m the one that hoping, haha!) that 2011 covers will have more colour and more unexpected celebrities on their covers! Amen.
The covers that i liked from InStyle UK this year’s are : Leona Lewis‘s June where she wore a lace dress and pink font. Anna Friel‘s April cover (she wore a white dress, but the one that stole my attention is the orange background font colour). Leighton Meester‘s pastel March cover where she wore a soft purple Burberry SS 2010 dress. And last but not least in Reese Witherspoon sitting gorgeously on their February cover.
The rest of the cover girl are Pixie Lott for January, Gemma Arterton for May, Dannii Minogue for August, Rachel Bilson for September and Nicole Richie for October.
Click here to see Christina Aguilera as their December cover girl in a leopard body hugging dress and a leather jacket with blonde braid.

[…] For the first five months, InStyle UK stick with grey mastheads. But thank God for the fabulous cover stars: Academy Award winning and nominated actresses Hilary Swank (January), Amy Adams (February) Gwyneth Paltrow (April) and Julianne Moore (May) and also supermodel Helena Christensen (March). Maybe muted colors are InStyle UK things, just like last year. […]
