Lara Stone for Vogue Paris 90th Anniversary October 2010

French Vogue  90th Anniversary Issue October 2010 will hits newsstands on September 27th, 2010. Lara Stone gracing the cover in a sexy black and white image with only a wolf lace, a Victorian pendant choker  and  her hands with gloves to illustrate the issue masquerade theme ! 

There will be 624 pages in total with 276 advertising pages, plus 104 pages of congratulatory from various international designers.

Mario Sorrenti, David Sims, Terry Richardson, Steven Klein, Hedi Slimane and the duos Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin will be featuring editorials for this issue.

Hedi Slimane will feature focuses on a classic — the little black dress — but on a surprising model: the 11-year-old daughter of Inès de la Fressange.

On this occasion, Vogue launches its first iPad application. A novelty of surprises as a mini animation film directed by Steven Klein, a video clip shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the making-off of a beauty session with Mario Sorrenti. As a bonus, Carine Roitfeld even comments the photographs of the portfolio on the iPad.

The 90th Anniversary Issue will come polybagged with a portfolio of oversize photographs from the nine decades, all unbound on thick paper and ready to frame (but only available if you bought it in France!). More surprises come from Carine Roitfeld, who says: “We couldn’t do a lukewarm issue” and planning to celebrate the magazine anniversary with a costume ball in Paris on September 30th, 2010. “Vogue Paris has always played the card of audacity,” she’s added.

It will also featured a Vogue archives : A 1962’s interview with actress Romy Schneider shot by Helmut Newton.

And rumour has it that the Miu Miu‘s Fall Winter 2010 campaign girl, Daphne Groeneveld will landed a cover for Vogue Paris November Issue !! Ha ! Talking about the implication of opened the most coveted slot of Calvin Klein Spring Summer 2011 first face…

Evian Collaboration with Issey Miyake

This is the fourth collaboration of Evian with designers to creating a limited edition glass bottle. Their previous collaboration was with Christian Lacroix, Jean Paul Gaultier and Paul Smith.

Its time for Japanese designer, Issey Miyake which he took inspirations from his Pleats Please line to creating a shimerry, pleated flower emblazoned with the water’s brand’s signature message “Live Young”.
