If only Vogue Taiwan change the horrible bold font, be more experimenting with backgrounds/outdoor settings and working things out with the cover layout, I think their front page line up could be better.
My only favourite this year is Takeshi Kaneshiro‘s October cover, the one where he sat down on a luxurious colored sofa. The text are minimum and that’s the kind of cover I’d like to see more coming from this Rosalie Huang edited magazine.
Shu Qi‘s March cover would’ve been another favourite if only the “spring break” headline not as boring as that. Ugh, I really hate that kind of font on a magazine cover.
The rest of the cover stars are: Taiwanese actresses Kwan Lun Mei for January, Amber Kuo for April, Cheryl Yang for May, Janine Chang for June, Zhou Xun for July, Vivian Hsu for August, Rainie Yang for November (she’s also a singer and host), Angelababy for December; singer Amei Chang for September; and anchor Hou Peicen for February.
To be honest, Vogue Taiwan is the weakest link in international Vogue covers and I’m really hoping they will work on that ASAP.

35 year old Chinese actress Li Bing Bing graced the first 2011 cover of her hometown fashion publication, Vogue, photographed by Max Vadukul. Five editions later, fellow actress Fan Bing Bing (both are not related) graced the minimalist July cover lensed by Josh Olins.
Three more actresses graced the covers of Vogue China this year: Scarlett Johansson for April by Peter Lindbergh, Maggie Q for October by Daniel Jackson and Zhou Xun for December by Sølve Sundsbø.
The rest of the covers are belongs to models: Gisele Bundchen sitting pretty for February issue lensed by Patrick Demarchelier; Lara Stone posed for two gorgeous March covers (my fave!) by Inez & Vinoodh; a reprint of Frida Gustavsson for May issue by Arthur Elgort; Natalia Vodianova on her second Vogue China cover for June by Peter Lindbergh; rising model Ming Xi for August issue by Daniel Jackson; current Chinese famous models–Du Juan, Sui He, Fei Fei Sun, Liu Wen, Ming Xi and Shu Pei Qin– for September issue (also my fave!) once again by Inez & Vinoodh; and last but not least, Edita Vilkeviciute for November by Peter Lindbergh.

This years covers line up by i-D magazine is amazing. Every season they stunned me with the casts and image!!
Pre Spring 2010 covers they gave Givenchy’s Ricardo Tisci with his muse, Mariacarla Boscono, Natasha Poly and Rihanna. All photographed by Willy Vanderperre. The orange and black combination is work for me.
Spring 2010 they have the androgyny Freja Beha Erichsen and the alien-esque Sasha Pivovarova by Emma Summerton and the beautiful Natalia Vodianova by Paolo Roversi. The green/blue/yellow is again work for me. Loved it!!
Another great covers are the 3 images of Summer issue where they featured the pregnant Gisele Bundchen by Matt Jones, the exotic Jeneil Williams by Daniel Jackson and the commercial goes high fashion, Miranda Kerr by Willy Vanderperre.
Simplicity is the key for Pre Fall covers. Lady Gaga, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss photographed by Nick Knight in black and white images. They also introduced the new i-D logo!
Stellar casts graced the Fall issue!! New comers like Lindsey Wixson, Daisy Lowe and Joan Smalls (who just been named the new face of Estee Lauder) joined the established group of Kristen McMenamy, Liya Kebede and Malgosia Bela (the photographers are Daniele + Iango, Marcel Door and Emma Summerton) plus the only actress and singer in the pack, Zhou Xun photographed by Wing Shya.
Shocking green logo and headlines are stamped on the covers of Winter issue with cover selection of Kanye West, Dree Hemingway, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Kate Moss (again!). The photographers are Fabien Montique, Matt Jones, David Bailey and Alasdair McLellan.
