Victoria’s Secret fashion show 2012 was tapped on Tuesday, November 07th 2012 with musical performances from Bruno Mars, Rihanna and Justin Bieber.
There was 65 outfits and 28 pair of wings with 37 models from supposedly 38 model slots. Lais Ribeiro cancelled her appearance due to she twisted her ankle on rehearsal. Behati Prinsloo finally worn one of her outfits, while Shanina Shaik wears the other one. Some of the high-fashion-strutter first timers this year’s are Maud Welzen, Magdalena Frackowiak, Hilary Rhoda, Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn, Jasmine Tookes, Shu Pei Qin, Barbara Palvin, Barbara Fialho, Frida Gustavsson and Sharam Diniz.
Ieva Laguna, Bregje Heinen, Liu Wen, Sui He, Constance Jablonski, Joan Smalls and Karlie Kloss are some of the non-Angels models who returned on VS runway. Karlie Kloss shocked the industry with her freshly cropped tresses at the backstage. She said her new hair “The Karlie” was cut by Garren at a shoot with Patrick Demarchelier recently.
There were six different segments on the show: Circus, Calendar Girls, Dangerous Liaisons, Pink Is Us and Angels In Bloom. Brazilian bombshell Alessandra Ambrosio landed the honor to wear this year’s $2.5 million Floral Fantasy Bra, designed by London Jewelers. Prominent shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood designed special collection for the glamourous event.

From ten covers of Numéro Tokyo this year, seven of them are featured the cover girls posing in front of plain backdrop (we didn’t count Candice Swanepoel‘s shadowy background). They brighten it up with multicolored, ombré, and clashing masthead and fonts. Some of them worked, some doesn’t.
For the cover models, they featured 1 singer turned successful fashion designer (Victoria Beckham), 1 model/TV personality/host (Alexa Chung), 1 former Estée Lauder spokesperson (Hilary Rhoda), 1 rockstar daughter (Georgia May Jagger), 2 current Victoria’s Secret Angels (Miranda Kerr and Candice Swanepoel), 2 models who walked Victoria’s Secret fashion shows (Lily Donaldson and Toni Garrn), and 2 household names in high fashion runways (Lindsey Wixson and Ginta Lapina).
Chilean born photographer Nino Muñoz snapped four covers this year (April, June, November and December), while Alexi Lubomirski (who was born in Wimbledon) and Horst Diekgerdes (born in Germany) photographed two covers each, January/February, September, March, and July/August respectively.
Fashion photographers Eric Guillemain and Angelo Pennetta shot one cover each in 2012 for the magazine. The former worked together with Lindsey Wixson for May cover, while the latter with Alexa Chung for October issue.
Our favourite cover from Numéro Tokyo this year goes to Victoria Beckham‘s March issue by Horst Diekgerdes. The colors are great and her side face shot is stunning.

Brazilian bombshell Alessandra Ambrosio is featured on the November cover of Allure Russia, photographed by Catherine Servel, just in time for her to promote her first-time-strutting-the-VS-runway-in-Fantasy-Bra-after-waiting-for-eleven-years.
The 31 year old and mother of two will be wearing Floral Fantasy Bra, worth $2.5 million, in this year’s highly anticipated Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, airing on CBS on December 04th.
The push-up bra was designed exclusively by London Jewelers and features nearly 5.200 precious gems, including amethysts, sapphires, tsavorite, rubies and white, pink and yellow diamonds, all set in 18-carat rose and yellow gold. The set includes a matching belt with two removable diamond flower pins and a centerpiece that includes a 12.5 carat diamond and a 20-carat white diamond.
Victoria’s Secret is also offering the Bombshell Fantasy Fragrance, which is spangled with white, pink and yellow diamonds, sapphires, tsavorite, rubies, a 10-carat white diamond and a hand-carved tourmaline butterfly. The price for the fragrance is $500.000. Pricey!

German born top catwalker Toni Garrn is photographed alongside Lindsay Ellingson and Erin Heatherton for the 2012 campaign of Victoria’s Secret Dream Angels.
This campaign caused a frenzy in the internet recently because we all thought that the 19 year old is the new Angel for the powerhouse lingerie brand.
Let’s all hope and praying that she’s getting signed as the new Angel very very soon. Amen.
