Prabal Gurung Spring Summer 2013 Ad Campaign
Prabal Gurung continues to hire photographer Daniel Jackson and fashion stylist Tiina Laakkonen for his latest campaign images, featuring the world’s number 1 model (according to Models.com) Joan Smalls.

Featured Article: Flare 2012 Covers Recap
Flare magazine’s Fashion Director Elizabeth Cabral styled most of the covers on this year’s line up for the Canadian monthly fashion publication. Well, that’s because three out of twelve front pages were a reprint.
Scarlett Johansson‘s May cover by Alexi Lubomirski was reprinted from the February 2009 issue of Harper’s Bazaar US. Michelle Williams‘ July cover was a reprint from her editorial inside the December 2011 issue of Elle UK. Last but not least, Flare‘s December cover featuring Keira Knightley who’s promoting Anna Karenina, was photographed by Terry Tsiolis and published earlier in the March 2011 issue of Elle UK.
As always, Cabral did a great job with the styling for the magazine’s covers this year. She styled Canadian models Jessica Stam in a purple lace Tom Ford dress for January issue (Stam‘s second cover in just four months!) and Coco Rocha in Ashley Rowe vest, Joe Fresh bright orange skirt and Louis Vuitton strappy shoes for February cover.
Revenge star Emily VanCamp wears Emilio Pucci yellow embroidered dress for the March cover by Chris Nicholls, who also photographed Coco‘s cover. Nicole Richie wears Roberto Cavalli‘s gold paillettes jacket and matching skirt for the April cover, while model turned actor Brooklyn Decker wears Peter Pilotto‘s gorgeous sleeveless peplum dress for June issue. Both covers were photographed by Max Abadian who also snapped the total of 7 front pages this year! He also responsible for the covers that’s featured Jessica Stam, Rose Byrne (in Marchesa), Lindsey Wixson (in Prabal Gurung), Milla Jovovich (in Calvin Klein Collection), and Claire Danes (in Fendi)
Flare is always been our favourite magazine because they keep producing beautiful covers. We love most of their covers (even though they used three reprints this year) especially Stam, Decker, Wixson and Jovovich version. Feel free to the links and check out their 2011 and 2010 covers line up.

The American top model is wearing a coat, gold lamé top and skirt by Prabal Gurung from the designer’s Fall Winter 2012 collection. She was photographed fantastically by Max Abadian and styled by Elizabeth Cabral respectively for the all important September cover of Flare magazine Canada.

Three Covers of The Block Magazine Issue 26 Spring Summer 2012
There are three different covers with three different personalities for the latest issue of The Block Magazine.
The first one is the current Prada campaign model, Dutch girl Ymre Stiekema who was lensed by Catherine Servel and styled in Proenza Schouler dress, Opening Ceremony cardigan and Louis Vuitton shoes by Michelle Cameron.
The second one is American model turned actor Boyd Hollbrook photographed by Doug Inglish and last but not least, the one and only Shirley Manson (and her vibrant red hair) in Prabal Gurung dress photographed by Kenneth Capello.

South African bombshell Candice Swanepoel is featured for Prabal Gurung‘s first advertising campaign with the styling works by Tiina Laakkonen and photographed by Daniel Jackson.
The hair do was done by the famous Didier Malige.
