Charlize Theron is sitting pretty in Versace Spring Summer 2012 dress for the May cover of Vogue UK styled by Lucinda Chambers and photographed by Patrick Demarchelier.
Change the headline fonts and the color of the masthead and you’ll get a Vogue US cover. Not that we complained.

Arizona Muse was photographed by Patrick Demarchelier and styled by Lucinda Chambers for her first Vogue UK cover and that makes her seventh Vogue covers—Korea (twice!), Russia, Paris, Australia and Italia—in just a year!
She is also the Spring Summer 2012 face of Isabel Marant, Fendi and Chloé.
What an achievement for the mother of one!

This year’s Vogue Brazil cover models are stellar and fantastic, but some of the covers are not.
My least favourite cover is September issue featuring gap toothed model Georgia May Jagger by Renam Christofoletti. The orange backdrop was just too much it hurts my eyes. Candice’s Swanepoel‘s October cover snapped by JR Duran came in second. The background looked fake! Such a waste of Candice… I love Raquel Zimmermann, she’s one of the world’s most beautiful women, but her June front page by Henrique Gendre was too plain and white. They should’ve added some colors there.
Gisele Bundchen‘s four covers version on July issue, by Patrick Demarchelier and Jacques Dequeker, are not that impressive. I like the concept but there was a cover that’s blurred. Top model and Victoria’s Secret Angel, Alessandra Ambrosio landed the December cover photographed by Eric Guillemain with actor Rodrigo Santoro. I don’t know maybe it’s the Louis Vuitton dress, the red masthead or the background, but it looked similar to Isabeli Fontana‘s September cover of Vogue Mexico, which is better than Ale‘s.
These covers were ok. I don’t like it that much but I’m not really hate it either: Emanuela de Paula‘s January issue by Jacques Dequeker; Freja Beha Erichsen‘s March issue by Henrique Gendre; Aline Weber‘s April issue by James Macari; and Karolina Kurkova‘s November issue by JR Duran.
And my favourite covers this year from Vogue Brazil are: February issue snapped by Fabio Bartelt featuring Adriana Lima‘s angelic face; August issue with Isabeli Fontana photographed by Jacques Dequeker with the great styling to matched the headline “Glam Tropical”; and my ultimate favourite is… Kate Moss, naked and fabulous, on the May issue snapped by Mario Testino!

Teen Vogue US always gave the same covers posed this year. From waist above. Kinda boring but thank God for two lovely cover stars: Emma Stone/23 (snapped by Daniel Jackson for September issue) and Chloë Moretz/14 (snapped by Paola Kudacki for December 2010/January 2012 issue).
The editor in chief, Amy Astley and her team chose singers, TV actresses (plus an actor) and movie stars for their cover stars this year. Most of them are obviously not teenage anymore.
December 2010/January 2011 cover star Cory Monteith is the oldest one. He is 29! While his co-star in Glee, Lea Michele is 25. Both of them were photographed by Regan Cameron. I usually don’t like Alexa Chung on magazine covers, but I must say that the 28 year old host and model looked pretty and young for November issue lensed by Paola Kudacki. Paola Kudacki also snapped Phil Collins‘s daughter, Lily, 22, for the October issue front page.
24 year old Ashley Greene had an awkwardly long neck on the March cover photographed by the famous Patrick Demarchelier who’s also photographed Academy Award nominated actress, Jennifer Lawrence, 22, for May, Pretty Little Liars‘s Lucy Hale, 22, for February and Selena Gomez, 19, for June/July issue.
Vampire Diaries‘s leading cast, Nina Dobrev (22) looked young photographed by Regan Cameron for the April cover while on the contrary, Taylor Swift (21) looked way older on the August cover lensed by Daniel Jackson.

This 2011 recap marks W magazine’s first full covers line up with new logo since they changed it September 2010 and their covers did not disappoints.
Stefano Tonchi‘s edited monthly publication chose actors Garrett Hedlund and Emma Stone to graced the January covers photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin and then the magazine gave an exclusive first look of February cover girl, Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander (remember the tension between Vanity Fair and W about the cover star?) from the upcoming David Fincher‘s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. The cover was photographed by Jean Baptiste-Mondino who also shot the April covers featuring Michael Fassbender and Mia Wasikowska.
Academy Award nominated actress, Mila Kunis heated up the March cover as she was photographed by Craig McDean in Eres silk bra and Chanel silk tulle organza coat. The British born New York based fashion photographer also lensed Mad Men‘s January Jones for the two covers of May issue. Academy Award winning actors, Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks was photographed together by Mario Sorrenti for the June issue promoting Larry Crowne. The Naples born New York City based photographer also shot one of my favourite magazine covers ever, the December issue featuring the divine Dakota and Elle Fanning. Another Academy Award winning actress, Tilda Swinton, also one of the cover stars for W magazine this year. The 2008 winner of Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role from Michael Clayton was lensed by Tim Walker for August issue.
Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott (the first was born in Turkey while the latter in Wales) photographed Kristen Stewart like we’ve never seen her before, winged tip eyeliner and boufant hair, for the important September cover while the October cover featuring In Time lead casts, Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried, marked the returns of Michael Thompson for magazine cover in a long time.
W gave another slot of two different covers for July (Music & Style) and November (Art & Fashion) issues featuring one nude Christina Aguilera by Daniele & Iango, glammed up Beyoncé by Patrick Demarchelier, the rising model Sui He by Max Vadukul and the quirky Nicki Minaj by Francesco Vezzoli respectively.
