Karen Elson & Edie Campbell for Vogue Italia May 2013

Young British model Edie Campbell landed her second Vogue Italia cover two month in a row (click here for last month’s)! She’s working together once again with Steven Meisel for the cover, and this time with fellow Brit Karen Elson. Who knew loungin’ on a kitchen table in bikini could be so chic.

Karen wears bikini with band top and high-waisted culotte in lycra and two-tone tulle notch embroidered; while Edie wears one-piece with the same detailing, all by Ermanno Scervino, styled by Karl Templer. Guido (for Redken) responsible for the wet-look hair, while Pat McGrath (for Dolce & Gabbana Make Up) for the bare face.

Karen Elson for Harper’s Bazaar UK May 2013

British top model Karen Elson is fronting the May 2013 covers from her homeland’s Harper’s Bazaar. Even though her expression on the newsstand cover looks weird, but both images are great!

Featured Article: Vogue Korea 2012 Covers Recap

If 2010 was the year in which Sasha Pivovarova graced the cover of Vogue Korea twice, and 2011 where Karen Elson also got featured twice, then 2012 is the year of Arizona Muse. The American model and a mother of one landed her first 2012 cover slot in January, photographed by Inez & Vinoodh. It was her second cover after she first debuted for the magazine in 2011 September issue. She landed her third cover for Vogue Korea in September (her second September issue and second cover in 2012), shot by Alexi Lubomirski.

Kasia Struss was featured on February issue, marked her returns on the cover since exactly two years ago. Also returning from their 2010 cover slot are Gisele Bundchen/July also by I&V (we love this so much!), and Anja Rubik/October.

Vogue Korea tapped top names in modeling industry as the remaining cover girls: Karlie-no-introduction-needed-Kloss for March; Daphne Groeneveld goes bold and mature for April; Saskia de Brauw showed her soft side for May; Han Hye Jin looks striking for June; Lara Stone and her infamous cleavage for August; Carolyn Murphy went noir chic for November; and last but not least, the 2012 Model of The Year from British Fashion Awards, Cara Delevingne for December.

We are curious who’ll landed two covers of Vogue Korea this year..

Miu Miu Resort 2013 Ad Campaign

Hilary Rhoda, Caroline Trentini, Candice Swanepoel and newcomer Sung Hee Kim may haven’t set their foot on the runway of Miu Miu, but they booked the latest campaign of Miuccia Prada‘s second line anyway.

The images that also featured top names Jessica Stam, Karen Elson and Daphne Groeneveld, were stunningly photographed by Steven Meisel, who apparently got his mojo back, on the first day of New York Fashion Week Spring Summer 2013 earlier this September. Love this!

Fifteen More Covers of i-D Magazine Fall 2012

i-D Magazine already mentioned that they will published the remaining 15 covers right after they teased us with the stunning Kolfinna Kristófersdóttir cover by Boo George.

Sara Moonves, Edward Enninful and Patti Wilson are the main stylist for the covers photographed by Matt Jones, Emma Summerton and Daniele Duella and Iango Henzi. One of the best covers in the bunch are the Chen Man photographed image featuring lovely actor Fan Bingbing, in which she was styled by Tim Lim.

The remaining cover models are the top names and household women in the modelling industry such as Amber Valetta, Aymeline Valade, Candice Huffine, Edie Campbell, Gisele Bundchen, Guinevere Van Seenus, Isabeli Fontana, Iselin Steiro, Jourdan Dunn, Karen Elson, Kristen McMenamy, Linda Evangelista, Natasha Poly, and Stephanie Seymour.

Diesel Fall Winter 2012 Ad Campaign

UPDATED JULY 16th 2012: Added four new campaign images featuring Coco Rocha, Dae Na, Yuri Pleskun, Hanne Gaby Odiele and Mirte Maas via TFS. Karen Elson, Sallieu Jalloh, Jamie Bochert, Ethan James and Sid Ellisdon are expected to be in this Steven Meisel photographed campaign as well.

Steven Meisel photograpged the latest campaign of Diesel featuring Mirte Maas and Coco Rocha with the styling works by Marie-Amélie Sauvé.

Yuri Pleskun, Dae Na, Jamie Bochert and Fei Fei Sun are reported to be in the campaign as well.

Reed Krakoff Spring Summer 2012 Ad Campaign

Flame haired singer and model, Karen Elson is replacing Stella Tennant as the new campaign model for Reed Krakoff. She is also the current campaign star of Roberto Cavalli along with Kristen McMenamy, Daphne Groeneveld and Naomi Campbell.

Roberto Cavalli Spring Summer 2012 Ad Campaign

UPDATED JANUARY 15th 2012: Added two new campaign images featuring Jon Kortajarena photographed by Steven Meisel via Sight Management.

The casts of Roberto Cavalli Spring Summer 2012 are perfect: original supermodels Naomi Campbell, Kristen McMenamy and the returning flame haired Karen Elson are photographed by Steven Meisel in Pier 59 studio in New York wearing the great collection along with the new crop of IT model, pillow-lipped Dutch girl Daphne Groeneveld.

But why Mr.Meisel, why with the plain grey background!? It looks like those old campaigns of Versace. We are hoping to see something more fiercer than last season’s Witch Trio campaign that in our opinion was one of the best campaigns for Fall Winter 2011. Could Eva Cavalli responsible for this as she’s the creative director…

The hair and make up was done by Guido Palau and Pat McGrath respectively.

Vogue Italia 2011 Covers Recap

24 year old Danish top model, Freja Beha Erichsen, landed her third Vogue Italia covers in less than a year! Right after her front page slot in March and November 2010, she was featured for the first 2011 cover of Vogue Italia along with her now rumored girlfriend, Arizona Muse, photographed by regular photographer for more than 20 years, Steven Meisel.

Freja Beha Erichsen was not the only returning cover girl for this year’s models line up, because catwalk veteran Kristen McMenamy (August 2010) and the possible new Angel of Victoria’s Secret’s, Karlie Kloss (January 2010), are both returning for another snapped once again by Steven Meisel for the 2011′s May and December issues respectively.

South African born Victoria’s Secret Angel, Candice Swanepoel, was a bombshell on the February issue while the similar hairstyle was sported by Raquel Zimmermann on the dull August cover, my least favourite. But, thankfully, Steven Meisel make it up Raquel Zimmermann‘s boring cover with the exceptionally amazing November issue. One of this year’s best cover! Saskia de Brauw‘s March issue and the sultry black and white June cover featuring three plus size models who looked gorgeous and fabulous: Tara Lynn, Candice Huffine and Robyn Lawley, are amongst this year’s best covers too.

Red haired model/musician, Karen Elson returning to the front page of Vogue Italia for the first time since December 2006 with the same grace and elegance for October. The former face of Missoni, Kristina Salinovic landed her first Vogue Italia cover for April as well as one of the current faces of Balenciaga, Juliane Grüner, for July issue. Last but not least, top model Stella Tennant shocked the fashion industry with her 13 inch waist (that’s not her real waist, right?) and appeared on the September cover of the magazine photographed by Steven Meisel.
