Featured Article: Harper’s Bazaar Brazil 2012 Covers Recap

Brazilian fashion photographer Gui Paganini is leading as the photographer who shot the most covers for Harper’s Bazaar Brazil in 2012 with five slots! He snapped rising star Thairine Garcia (twice, for January and May), and fellow Brazilian models Ana Claudia Michels (April), Aline Weber (July), and Alicia Kuczman (October).

Fabio Bartelt, Paolo Vainer and Terry Richardson are tailing in number 2 spot with two cover each. Fabio, he’s the husband of top catwalker Caroline Trentini, photographed the February and June issue with Ana Beatriz Barros and Tati Cotliar. Sao Paolo based Paolo Vainer snapped models Katia Selinger and Anne Vyalitsyna for the magazine’s August and December edition. The one and only, Gisele Bundchen posed in front of Terry Richardson’s lens for the magazine’s anniversary edition, as well as Lily Donaldson who posed for the March issue.

Last but not least, Fe Pinheiro photographed the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar Brazil featuring the queen of posing, Coco Rocha who’s sitting pretty with flowing hair. Most of the magazine’s covers this year were minimalist, with burst of colors on the background, clothes, masthead or fonts. We shall wait and see whether Harper’s Bazaar Brazil gonna continue their signature style in 2013.
