Steven Meisel and Vogue Italia always delivered great January covers for the past two years. Remember Karlie Kloss stumbled on the runway for January 2010? Or Arizona Muse and Freja Beha Erichsen in some kind of Haute Couture fitting for January 2011?
This time they gave us another unique cover featuring Caroline Trentini, an unidentified model that looks like Christy Turlington in a red dress and the current Louis Vuitton campaign girl, Daria Strokous, for a telesales programs/home shopping-like cover and we just can’t wait to see the editorial!
The cover was styled by Karl Templer while the hair and make up was done by Jimmy Paul and Pat McGrath respectively.
