Karl Lagerfeld tapped his long time muse, Claudia Schiffer for Chanel Eyewear Fall 2011 ad campaign in a series of no-Baptiste Giabiconi-images photographed by himself. Quoted from Fashionologie: “Karl Lagerfeld turned to one of Chanel‘s most iconic fixtures: the chain. Used to reinterpret classic Chanel eyewear shapes — aviators, square frames, cat-eyes — the chains are woven with lambskin leather and come in muted Fall hues like wine, taupe and navy.”
